TEx Rotation Heating
Unlike conventional heaters that blast a small amount of hot air, the TEx uses large axial fans to circulate a high volume of air at a lower velocity and temperature.
This process, known as air rotation or destratification, minimizes heat stratification (where hot air rises and collects at the ceiling) and results in significant energy savings and a more comfortable working environment.
Key Features
- High efficiency: The TEx units are ErP compliant and use high-efficiency burners and low-energy fans. They are designed to minimize fuel and electricity use by consistently recirculating warm air from the ceiling, preventing wasteful heat loss.
- Large area coverage: The air rotation technology is specifically engineered for large, open-plan facilities and distribution centres. One TEx unit can often provide the same heating performance as several smaller units, reducing installation costs and roof penetrations.
- Uniform heat distribution: By moving a large volume of air, the TEx minimizes temperature differences between the floor and ceiling, eliminating cold spots and providing an even, comfortable temperature throughout the building.
- Flexible installation: While standard models are designed for internal floor-standing installation, weatherproof and insulated options are available for external mounting where internal floor space is limited.
- Advanced control options: The TEx comes standard with a simple, factory-fitted MC200 digital controller that offers time and temperature settings, frost protection, and remote operation. Further upgrades are available, including remote sensors and full Building Management System (BMS) integration.
