VTS-VOLCANO Water Heater
  • Fuel: Gas or oil, with a comprehensive range of compatible burners, including natural gas, LPG, and liquid biodiesel.
  • Construction: Includes a stainless steel combustion chamber and a mild steel heat exchanger.
  • Fan system: A dynamically balanced centrifugal fan set driven by a belt-driven motor.
  • Power output: Available in outputs up to 1 Megawatt (1000 kW).

  • Installation:
CP+: Designed for installation within the heated space.
CP+EA: Specifically for external installation, where the heater is located outside and ducted into the building. (This version is ideal for spaces where the supply air is contaminated or fresh air is required, such as some garages and heavy industrial environments).

Applications

The key difference is that the CP+EA model is a weatherproofed version specifically designed for external applications, while the standard CP+ is for internal use.

Typically utilised in:

  • Factories: Heating vast manufacturing areas and assembly lines.
  • Warehouses and distribution centres: Maintaining appropriate temperatures for stored goods and a comfortable environment for workers.
  • Aircraft hangars: Providing powerful and even heating for very large, open spaces.
  • Large retail buildings: Serving as an efficient heating solution for expansive retail floors.
  • Sports centres and leisure facilities: Maintaining comfortable temperatures for large, open indoor recreational areas.
  • Agricultural and horticultural facilities: Creating controlled climates in large indoor spaces.
  • Large workshop garages: Heating extensive workshop areas.

The choice between the CP+ and the CP+EA model depends on the specific installation environment:

  • CP+ (Internal): This model is installed inside the space being heated, or in an adjacent plant room.
  • CP+EA (External): This weatherproof version is installed outside the building, making it suitable for sites where floor space is limited or where the heater needs to be sited remotely.
